Which Heating System is Best for My Home?

Did your heating system die out on you in 2016? Is it time for a new unit to take you through the next 15 years or so of owning a home? If so, the Tyler Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration LLC team has plenty of efficient options for you to choose from. Here are four of our favorites:

Heat Pumps

Heat pumps are great because they are really the jack of all trades. They provide both heating and cooling services, which means you now only have ONE system to clean, maintain and pay for. There are various SEER and HSPF (efficiency rating) levels and fan speeds to choose from and we provide them all at Tyler Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration LLC!

Gas Furnaces

Did you know that a furnace made after 1990 can save you up to 50% in operating costs? New age units are significantly more efficient than old units and they are substantially better for our environment. Those older units came with an energy efficiency rating of about 65% or less in some cases. Here at Tyler Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration LLC, our product line includes units with an 80% efficiency rating or even 96.6% for some of our high end models.

Oil Furnaces

Much like our gas furnaces, these furnaces start at a minimum of 80% efficiency. There are all sorts of 4-speed and variable speed models to choose from and our customer service team can lead you to the model that best suits your needs.

Ductless Heating

Ductless systems are almost silent and they are extremely efficient. They gained popularity in Europe because they take up less space and they are easy to install and operate. These units do not blow at maximum speed consistently like some heating systems. They automate based on the needs of a particular room in your home, much like cruise control on a car. This makes them cost much less to operate because you are not paying for heat in rooms or spaces of time that you don’t need it!

If you would like to learn more about our product line and the systems that might work in your Connecticut home, we would love to chat with you. We have been a Premiere Dealer in Connecticut for over a decade and our customer service team is second to none in the industry.
